Good! I have finally taken all of Ralph's power, and most of the kids on the island have joined my tribe! I really have no idea why we even followed that idiot Ralph in the first place! Why would anyone vote for that joke of a child! He has no idea what it takes to be a leader. Whoever is the strongest, bravest, and can provide for others should be the leader. Meat is an important thing you know. Ralph is barmy if he thinks he is a better leader then me. The world should be purged of fools like him! Let the real leaders have the power! That's why everyone joined me. Because I can get meat, and all the boys love to hunt. Sucks to Ralph and his fire, we can do fine on this island on our own! I don't even want to be rescued! I'm a proper chief, not afraid of anything! Last night, when Simon crawled like a beast to camp, I had the guts to yell the order to attack. I don't feel bad for Simon. You crawl into camp like that, you deserve to die! I don't know if it was Simon or not, maybe it was the beast in disguise. And maybe, we didn't kill it? Maybe we just injured it. The more people who are scared of me and the beast the better. That's why I had Wilfred tied up, you see what happens when you challenge Jack Merridew? I have better things to do than fight. Hunting is the most important thing on this island, and my tribe is very serious about it. So serious that Simon's attempt could have been suicide! He knew what was coming, that fool. Simon was always giving theological illuminations, that the beast could be a monster inside all of us. Such a fool. He deserved to die. I sent hunters a while ago to steal fire, and they returned beaten, battered and bruised. Rodger and Maurice were hurt, Rodger had been kicked in the pills, and Maurice bruised bad. I swear I will get that Ralph.....
